Vanguard MENA, a leading private equity firm in the Middle East, has introduced the Gulf Career Programme following the Global Labour Market Conference 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During the conference, Saudi Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al Khateeb, highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to creating 250,000 employment opportunities for Expo 2030 and an additional one million jobs by that year.
The Gulf Career Programme, recognised by Vanguard MENA’s Managing Partner, Jassim Al-Thani, as a key driver of regional growth, focuses on the dynamic economies of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Operating globally across 56 countries with a target of 100,000 participants, the programme aims to foster international career growth and attract talent to the vibrant Gulf region. Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the UAE Economic Vision 2030, it underscores Vanguard MENA’s dedication to driving innovation and progress.
Backed by a substantial US$10 million fund, earmarked for its development, the Gulf Career Programme will support localised training initiatives, provide financial aid to selected regions and reinforce its commitment to empowering the entire region. Participants will not only gain opportunities for viable employment but also have access to e-training platforms, global career seminars and career mentorship.
Launching registration in stages, the programme will progressively debut across diverse regions on www.gulfcareerprogram.com. This roll-out encompasses North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and The Caribbean, featuring tailored seminars and interviews. Serving as a vital link connecting global talent with opportunities in the GCC region, the initiative capitalises on the unique strengths of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
